The needs of teachers of children with speech and language disorders

This paper outlines the chief findings about the needs of teachers of children with speech and language disorders, as emerged from a DES-funded project at the University of Birmingham into the develop ment of a distance-taught course. Teachers responded to questionnaires concerning the desirability of particular topics in such a course. A summary of their responses is given, and an analysis made of their preferences.
