The Netherton concept project: a collaborative approach to assessment and teaching

This project shows how an assessment for concepts was developed and used to screen children in nursery school as part of a speech therapy management plan. It further advocates a teaching approach that is used across the curriculum, and illustrates its importance in helping children achieve specific goals within one term of intervention.
