Developing form awareness and appreciation in children's writing

Gerard M. Woods

27 Milecastle Court, West Denton, Newcastle upon Tyne NE5 2PA, UK

This paper looks at the vocabulary of reading resources and the classroom presentation of words in relation to this development, and suggests a procedure for stimulating form awareness in children's writing.
