Two into one will go: developing science for pupils with speech and language difficultiesSt Catherine's School, Ventnor This study outlines work being undertaken to develop a scheme of work for science specifically for pupils with speech and language difficulties. It concentrates on the methods of adoption and adaptation of a recognized . scheme available on the market. It particularly emphasizes how subject- specific vocabulary can be built into schemes of work to enable pupils with speech and language difficulties to acquire vocabulary and scien tific knowledge.
