Parent-child interaction: an alternative approach to the management of children's language difficulties

A programme of intervention is described for the management of children's language difficulties focusing on parent-child interaction patterns. An assessment of interaction is presented, together with a description of a management programme. A brief summary of the outcome of this approach and clinical observations are discussed.
