The University of Sydney The Logo programming language can be a useful tool for speech- language therapists working with language-impaired children. It can be used to develop children's assertiveness, spatial/directional skills and higher level language skills such as logical sequencing and cause and effect. The philosophy which underpins Logo facilitates an environment which empowers language-impaired children.
